There are so many ways I could start this post! I could tell you how we are Farmers Market maniacs and that’s how we first discovered Bodhi Tree Juice Co. I could tell you that Axel refers to the juice as his Farmer Juice and he has nicknamed his favorites “monster juice” (Rise & Shine) and “super power juice” (Switchel). I could also tell you how delighted he is to set out the cooler and watch for the “Farmer Juice Delivery”. (yes—they deliver!) All of that is cute + sweet, but maybe I should just start off by explaining to you that these juices taste amazing, like really amazing! I crave Ruby Red and Sunburst. As a nursing mom to a newborn these juices make me feel energized (that’s huge) and they shutdown my crazy cravings for sugar and other junk food (that’s also huge).

The juices are purely fresh fruits and veggies—no weird stuff. (In fact, there’s nearly 3 lbs of produce in each bottle!) It feels good knowing that I’m getting heaps of nutrients to Axel, baby Ian, and me. I didn’t forget the hubs—he’s nuts about them too (if he can get any before it’s gone).

If you know me, you know I love food and fun facts…I especially love fun food facts. 🙂 Here are a few tidbits about Bodhi Tree Juice Co. that I think are pretty fantastic:

-There is approximately 3 pounds of produce per bottle of juice. (I mentioned this already…but wow!)

-Bodhi Tree Juice partners with organic Michigan farmers to obtain fruits and veggies to make their juice. #puremichigan

-All of the Bodhi Tree Juice Co. pulp is donated to Hidden Creek Farms, where it is given to their cows, pigs and goats. (This is so cool!)

-Bodhi Tree Juice Co. buys back all of their bottles to reduce their carbon footprint. $1 for shots, $2 for regular bottles, $4 for large bottles. (I always keep the bottle deposit in mind when purchasing.)
